Biography: My research focus is primarily around altruism and the nuanced circumstances of kin selection processes. Through that research I seek to explore adaptive proximate cues for kin selection and when that might result in apparent altruism, cues such as emotional closeness. I am currently doing my postgraduate research and teaching at the University of South Wales, so I am relatively early in academic career, an exciting position to be in and I am interested to see what the future holds for the field of evolutionary psychology. |
Research areas: Altruism, Emotional Closeness, Kin Selection, Altruism Proximate Cues, Reciprocation. |
